Spirit Rover on Mars

The Spirit Rover is currently in the Columbia Hills. Some of the pictures are . . . incredible. The Spirit Navigation pictures are loaded with strange appearances.

Many pictures -- Sol 549-Sol 559 -- have a dot in the sky. Whether or not these dots represent UFO's or are simply a 'speck' on the camera lens is unknown.

Other pictures show oddly shaped rocks. Yet others have the appearance of water with ripples. This could be a silt like sand, or something else.

Many pictures, both Spirit Navigation and Spirit Panorama pictures show black 'objects' or, possibly, shadows.
